Challenged by poor workflow, a difficult layout and outdated fittings, our client asked us to deliver a cost‑effective redesign on a very tight budget. We reconfigured the pharmacy through targeted structural works and improved space planning, installed an economical yet efficient dispensary system, built a larger DDA‑compliant treatment room and created a much improved counter area. The main structural work was completed over a bank holiday weekend to minimise disruption, with all remaining works carried out while the pharmacy continued trading. The upgrades future‑proof the business and enhance services for the local community by enabling expanded clinical offerings with a prescribing pharmacist and integrating a market‑leading prescribing system that streamlines operations and notifies customers by text confirmations when their prescriptions are ready for collection.
